Could somebody please remind me why I continue to live in the Upper Midwest? Three months of crazy Borneo weather, nine months of frozen Nordic hell. Plus allergy season from April to October. There are about three weeks around Halloween when I don't envy the dead.

You forgot about the 4 days in early May that are usually somewhat pleasant. You know...after the snow melts but before the mosquitos hatch.
