Anybody know anything about Morningside College? They're looking for somebody to chair their Mass Comm department, and they're only requiring a Master's degree for the job.

It's been a long time since I've done it, but I'd be a little bit concerned about teaching video production. But like Marge Simpson said about giving piano lessons: You've just gotta stay one lesson ahead of the kid.

Morningside tends to lean toward the distance-learning style of teaching. What I know of them comes from all the info they innundate teacher with plugging graduate courses in education. The student body is primarily non-trad students as well. But that's about all I know. :-)

Hmm. Interesting. I could deal with non-trad students.

It is in Sioux City. I've never been to Sioux City, but it looks like the Milwaukee Wiener House is my kind of eatery.

ew, sioux city. my hometown (vermillion, sd) is about a half hour from there. we called it sewer city because it has stockyards in the middle of it and STINKS. i can't say anything about the college tho.

I grew up on the east side of Des Moines. The smell is not an issue. Trust me on this.
