My senior year of high school, I caught Mono and spent a month in bed. I'd never watched much TV prior to that but I remember watching this show a lot. Turns out, it wasn't just the fever that made it trippy.
this was one of the best episodes! the later seasons really went up in story/animation quality when they took more cues from actual mythology and horror concepts. no coincidence that ms. derleth looked a bit like hp himself either.
