Observations from Las Vegas

1) I want to meet the guy who invented the concept of the "ultra lounge." If I'd ever seriously had the thought that charging people $200 for a bottle of Jose Cuervo was an appropriate thing to do, I'd never show my face in decent society again.

2) Hoover Dam makes a man feel good about America again. This is not a joke.

3) Spamalot is far better than it has a right to be.

4) I didn't want to just assume that the only women who wanted to talk to me were hookers, but that's how the smart money was betting.

The Hoover Dam was the highlight of my brother the redneck's trip to Las Vegas. That's two endorsements from very different sources -- it must be pretty great.
