You've all seen the video of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas light thingy by now. I first saw it at my parents' place. They showed it on the local news.

I can't help thinking that if I lived across the street from this guy, the news coverage would have been markedly different. Instead of, "And here's some footage of a house in Ohio that really gets into the Christmas spirit," it would have been more like, "All this Ohio man wanted to do was spread some Christmas joy, but the Grinch across the street had other ideas." Then they'd show a photo of me shirtless and swinging a crowbar. Chances are, it would be labeled "FILE PHOTO."

This is the latest addition to a very long list of reasons I'm glad I don't live in Ohio.

On the plus side, Ohio has wonderful rest areas on their interstates. Don't be totally hatin' the Buckeyes.
