Every couple of months, the University of Minnesota and I go through the paces of our little dance: I send them a resume and a job application, and they ignore it. It's actually grown rather tiresome, but I've decided to give them one more chance. They have a job posted for which I could not be more qualified if I had written the requisition myself. If they ignore this one, I will know for certain that the people doing the hiring are just employing their nephews.

does it say "no phone calls"? if not -- call them! email them! bug 'em. take xanax before you do so if you have to. that is my advice.
