Suppose, just for the sake of argument, Terri Schiavo can be rehabilitated. When she had that heart attack 15 years ago, all of our jobs were being shipped overseas, the Middle East was about to erupt into apocalyptic violence, and President Bush was making the U.S a laughingstock. How on Earth could she adapt to the world of today?
