MarsCon observations

1) We now have proof-of-concept for the Carl costume. Not everybody got it, but the ones who got it really got it. My favorite reaction: A woman pulled her husband over and said, "Look, it's the guy from that show we hate!"

2) Science-fiction and fantasy authors are, on the whole, the most charming and fascinating people to have dinner with.
