I've been going to SCA meetings fairly regularly for the last couple of weeks. I had been going just to hang out and get acquainted with the local group, get the lay of the land, that sort of thing (and if you happen to find The Lay of the Land, give her my number). Tonight I found a New Thing to capture my interest: it would appear that I am something of a natural man of the German longsword.
