I went back to the State Fair again today. They have a sideshow this year, for the first time in something like 20 years. Those of you who really know me will be shocked by this, but I'd never actually been to an old-fashioned ten-in-one before.

Everybody else seemed to find it a little bit corny. I found it a strange and compelling vision of what my life could be if I play my cards right.
