Yesterday, Salon ran an interview with Alan Moore in which he mentions the alchemical concept of "solve et coagula," or dissolution and reconstruction. I'm thinking that phrase might make a decent tattoo -- maybe something in a nice Italic hand, like an old Renaissance manuscript. I may look into this, although lately my life has been a lot more "solve" and less "coagula."
